Cookies Policy

This page explains, in technical terms, what a cookie is, which ones this site sets, and how you can change your choices at any point using the "Cookie preferences" link fixed at the bottom left corner of every page.

A. How consent is collected here

Rather than a banner across the screen, this site uses a small persistent link. The first time you visit, that link briefly pulses to draw attention. Clicking it opens a settings window where you can accept all cookies, reject everything beyond what is strictly necessary, or choose category by category.

B. Necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the site to function as intended and cannot be disabled through the settings window. The main one is a preference cookie named wdi_consent, which stores your category choices so the site does not ask again on every visit.

C. Analytics cookies

If enabled, these cookies would help us understand, in aggregate and without identifying you personally, which pages are visited and how often. They are only set after you actively opt in through the settings window, in line with Romanian implementation of the ePrivacy framework.

D. Preference cookies

These remember small interface choices, such as whether you have already dismissed the cookie settings window, so it does not reappear unnecessarily on every page load.

E. Cookies from embedded services

The contact page embeds a Google Maps view to show our office location. Loading that map may allow Google to set its own cookies, governed by Google's own privacy terms rather than this policy. If you prefer to avoid this, you can note our address, Strada Nerva Traian 27-33, Bucharest, without loading the embedded map.

F. Changing your choices later

You can open the cookie settings window at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" at the bottom left of any page on this site. Adjusting your choices there updates the stored wdi_consent cookie immediately.

G. Retention period

The consent preference cookie is generally kept for up to twelve months, after which you would be asked again. You may also clear cookies manually at any time through your browser settings, which resets this site to a first-visit state.

H. Legal basis

Non-essential cookies are set only with your consent, in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Romanian Law No. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, as amended to reflect current ePrivacy requirements.
